ANNE BOLEYN TAGGED THIS MANOR HOUSE! - Daily Mail Real Estate Article

Did Anne Boleyn tag a window in a manor house in Kent, England?
According to the Daily Mail, there's a good chance that's exactly what she did.
Who knew she had such street cred?

The story behind the headline is that in Kent, England there is a manor house currently on the market.
The word 'Bollen' was scratched into a pane of glass at the Peckham family home, Yaldham Manor.

But did Anne Boleyn 'graffiti tag' the manor house of her neighbour?
The facts are these:

  • Yaldham Manor house is within sixteenth-century standards for 'neighbors' of Hever Castle, home to the Boleyn (Bollen, or Bullen, or Bolen; Tudor England was big on 'invented spelling') family.

  • The name 'Bollen' is etched on a pane of now-cracked glass in the south window of what is described as an 'open hall.'
 That's it.

Do you believe Anne Boleyn scratched her name onto a pane of glass in the window of her neighbor's house?
